The biggest reason for my use of the Academy app is for research on potential purchase of firearms, ammunition and firearm-related products. I typed "9mm ammo" into the search bar and it had zero results. For "9mm ammo"?!?!?!?! Absolutely ridiculous. Please fix this immediately, or make it clear whether or not you have any intention of selling firearms or firearm-related products at ALL, so I can just get rid of the app entirely.

There needs to be a clear direction for "pay my bill". I've been trying to navigate this app for 2 days. Re- entering account # and waiting for a code to be texted, and resetting my password. They want the money, but make giving it to them so infuriating. This is just one more card that's just not that important. Cancelling Soon.

Love Academy, but this app freezes constantly while shopping. I have to restart it, clearing out all of my search filters. It's sooooooo very slow loading anything you click on. It also gets stuck after you click on an item to view. Neither the phone's back button, nor the app's back button will work and you're forced to restart the app.

UI is broken in some places, back buttons don't work in some screens. If you view item detail you're stuck there forever unless you can go to your cart and find your way back to the home screen. Bumped up a star as the android 15 update seems to have corrected some issues I was having.

useless due to play store rules. cannot even look at the stock status of firearms or ammo. I understand about not being able to purchase these items, but I can even use it to look up shotgun shells before I go to the store. so I'll just use their website for everything from now on. the website isn't much better, as it shows most of the time.

I don't like this app, it will be better if I could navigate it like the website. I would like to be able to search for specific merchandise fast and easy, if I click on outdoor cooking I want to be able to go to the category and then have all the options like grills, Charcoal, cooking utensils, etc. But the App doesn't let me do that. I used the website on my phone and it works great. If I want to see the specials for the month I just click on it and browse the specials and tap on an item.

Love the store, hate the app... Anytime I use the app and go to look at an item. It will not let me use the back arrow feature to return to the searched item list. It's like the back function stops working, everything else on the page works just fine...I just can't back out. I gotta close the app, reopen the app, reload my search criteria, and scroll back to where I last was. A complete and total hassle.

The app is alot easier to navigate then it used to be and very handy that you can individually select in store pickup for items or have them ship to your house all in the same transaction. Really my only complaint is that the app freezes up on me but that could just be my phone.

I'm not sure if there are memory issues or something else going on. Navigation starts slow and gets progressively slower as you use the app. If I try to switch back to it after switching to another app, I just end up back on my home screen. Have to force close and re-open pretty frequently to correct these.

I never give bad ratings, but.. The app shows numerous San Antonio locations. The map is OK, but the list of stores only says San Antonio for all. No address, description, and no correlation to the map. Click on one, and still no address is displayed. I uninstalled it after 5 mins.

I like the app a lot, but searching for specific sports items is quite difficult. There's no way to search based on sports or other categories, which means you can't search for specific sports. Also, unless you know the name of the item you're looking for, if you search by entering the kind of item you're looking for, the results come back with things that are completely unrelated. If they fix this function, it would get 5 stars. Search could be an overall limitation, rather than an app limit.

App sucks big time! I was doing my shopping,adding items to my cart,found alot of good deals to. But when I go to check out,app just crashes and keeps telling me to try back later. It won't allow me to edit my cart,can't remove items that I changed my mind on,or found a better deal on. I have repeatedly logged out,logged back in,and nothing! Refreshed the browser everything! Still nothing. Guess I gotta do my x-mas shopping with the competitors this year

This problem was never fixed so I no longer use the app, I have gone back to using a browser. (11/16/22) I love using the app to shop...except for 1 aspect which is MADDENING. When shopping & have added filters (size, gender, deals, etc), if you click on an item to look at it & then use your phone BACK button at the bottom of the screen (an unbreakable habit) instead of the back arrow in the app at the top of the screen, all filters get cleared & have to all be entered again. So frustrating!

Fix the back button function. When I click on a product while scrolling, it doesn't allow me to exit back to the search results. I have to start over, and it's annoying. I have skipped 3 purchases now and used Bass Pro Shop instead.. This has been a problem everyone has complained about for at least two years now. I'm surprised your app is still being used.

This app is terrible and time-consuming! I shouldn't have to reset my filters EVERY TIME I click on a product for a closer look/more information! The filters aren't even accurate to BEGIN with! Everything- every single thing- was sold out or out of stock. Uninstalling and unsubscribing from the waste of time emails too. I'll stick to Dick's Sporting Goods. At least THEY have items in stock and will price match as well. Good riddance.

First let me say Its about time they finally made an app. Better late than never I suppose. Pros: app is well organized, user friendly and intuitive interface. Great product selection. Cons: There is no "remember me" feature. Any time you close the app you have to relog into your account. Not hard but very tedious and annoying. It doesnt even remember your email address which is a basic feature on all apps now days. Also they are VERY pushy about getting you to sign up for a credit card

App loads everything slowly making it frustrating to navigate anywhere. Less search features to navigate an area compared to the website itself. If you click on an item you might be interested in, there's a chance when you go back to the search results that it will take you to the top of the results making it frustrating to use. There's a good foundation and it just needs better optimization.

Unbelievably slow. Frustratingly slow. In fact, it's slower than the website, which is at a snail's pace. What's the point of hide out of stock and using filters if the app doesn't apply them? Can't search my local stores inventory until you click on an item. This app is useless if you want anything other than ship to home. EDIT Speed of the app is better, not great, but better. The filter aspect is still trash. Won't scroll down through filter selections and hide out of stock still useless.

Love academy as my favorite hunting supplies store. I do have an issue with the app though. That is the page gets stuck from time to time but a lot more frequent lately. You go to few an item and sometimes when you get done looking at the item all the back buttons (the phone's and app's) don't work and you're stuck on the page. You have to close the app completely.

Update: Still awful! Decided to install again and see if it was fixed. Same issues. This is on latest version of android too. Filters do not allow you to scroll....have to force close. Whats the deal guys...no QA dept? Awful. This app always has issues. Can't close without force closing. Can't scroll through filters. Need to start over guys or get new developers.
